Workshop augmented carnaval
A workshop conducted at the graphic design school ECV in order to produce costumes augmented electronically for the great carnival of Bordeaux. Each mask could come alive and light up by interacting with the public or its wearer via big buttons. The students all started with the same electronic base : ESP32, WS2812 strip, servomotors, large arcade button and huge battery. A wooden template was designed before the starting of the workshop as a base for each costume suit. A first step of the workshop was to produce in one day a simulation of the idea in cardboard with fake interactions. And 3 days after each group have to finish the project. Workshop lead in collaboration with Guillaumit, Guillaume Stagnaro and Yann van der Cruyssen.
